Midsummer's Eve

Just wanted to wish you all a lovely, magical Midsummer weekend (can you believe it's midsummer). This weekend we'll be doing some of this and
this but mostly hoping that the fairies bring their umbrellas! Hope you get to see some at the bottom of your garden too.

PS If those fairies are just being a bit too shy, you could watch this - it's wonderful!

Love the pretty flowers in the hair. Very fairy looking! Looks like it's going to be rather wet around our way this weekend but I'll still be looking out for those fairies and as we've just created a lovely new spot at the bottom of our garden they will hopefully be tempted to visit. Have a lovely weekend.

Weave some of that magic this Midsummer day Kim and be careful not to tread on the fairies if you go out after dusk..
I can't see them without my reading glasses on.. but I know that they are there...

Considering today is the longest day, it has become dark very early. Must be due to the low cloud and rain we have been having! We can only hope that summer finally begins in July. Let us know how many fairies you spot? x

I'm sur the fairies won't mind a bit of rain. Have a good weekend.

It's quite rainy and horrid today but at least the fairies have lovely big leaves to shelter under at this time of year.

Midsummer blessings to you all.

Thanks for visiting my blog and I do hope you find some fairies! It rained here in Norwalk last night so hopefully today we can go outside and try to find our fairies! Will visit again.

Magical!

How I wish I'd had daughters rather than sons on days like this - there's no way they would have entertained fairies and prettiness on Midsummer's Eve.

And the springing of the flowers;
And the fairy things that pass
In the forests of the grass."

Since we had more time to spend at Cranberry Cottage, my Midsummer's weekend was very nice. The fairies were dancing around wearing the foxglove blossoms for skirts as they are beginning to fall. I think they had quite a party! I love the flower wreath that DD is wearing. What a pretty little thing.

Hugs ~
