Oh I Do Love To Live Beside The Seaside

So just let me be beside the seaside

I do love to stroll upon the Prom Prom Prom

Eat my chips beside the sea

Stand child-like in front of the merry-go-round

Enchanted by the myriad of colours

Remembering days when the girls were small enough to be picked up

and carried on to their chosen horse, where they would cling desperately, wide grins beaming across their smiling faces

And indeed, days when I was little and trips to the seaside were the highlight of my summer.

It's nice living by the sea - you live near a prettier one than me!

I can smell those chips Kim! Youngest son and I always have to go on the horses on the pier when we're in Brighton. Glad you've been having a lovely time along the coast.Karen X

Lovely to live by the sea, especially now, with this warm Spring weather we've been having.
We've just come back from Norfolk and the beaches there go on for ever! :0)

What a lovely jolly post Kim.
I do love to be beside the sea too, and with all this glorious sunshine it is even better.
Thank you for your kind words.
I am not very good at keeping up with so many blogs but how nice it has been to see some old friends and as well newer ones.
Take care,
carol x

We love to be beside the seaside too, and only the other day we were commenting how lucky we are to have this and the lovely countryside all around us. We cycled into Brighton on BH Monday, and when we arrived the beach was empty, when we left people were packed in like sardines! It was a lovely day though, and hopefully there will be many more to come. x

I love the sea too, though it's a bit chilly round here for actually dipping one's toe in...
