Hurrah, that's what the summer is meant to be about! We are far from the sea but the village school has an outdoor pool so we are often to be found there when the sun is out.

Thanks for looking at my cake stand. The pie is from Nigella's Domestic Goddess - let me know if you don't have that and I'll send you the recipe.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

So glad you are getting some sunshine again. We are just about into Spring and have had the most miserable Winter for years. Finally got some sunshine yesterday and it is smiling on us again today.
Love the little book, what a wonderful find.

Glad you finally got some sun! Love the beach picture. Also loved your previous post -- the pretty pitcher and the jam -- apple fig jam -- sounds so interesting. I'll bet it's very delicious!

It's great to have the sun and blue skies back again isn't it? Especially over a Bank Holiday! Those are lovely photos.

Wondeful "red sky at night, shepherds delight" sky, wonder if it will be the same tonight or if we will get a "red in the morning shepherds warning"?
